Getting started
Connecting to your server with SSH
Updated 26 Oct 2026
Your server's address, username and password are on its page in the dashboard, under Access. Press Show password to reveal the password; it is never sent by email.
From a terminal (macOS, Linux, Windows 10+)
ssh ubuntu@203.0.113.10
Use the username shown on the page: ubuntu, debian, rocky or almalinux on KVM images, root on containers. The first time, your computer asks whether to trust the server's key — answer yes.
With an SSH key instead of a password
Add your public key under Account → SSH keys, then tick it when you order or reinstall. It is installed for the login user, and the password keeps working as well.
"Host key changed" warning
After a reinstall or a restore the server has new host keys, and your SSH client refuses to connect until the old entry is removed:
ssh-keygen -R 203.0.113.10
