Terms of Service
Version 1 · published 26 Oct 2026
Draft. This text was prepared as a starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Croco IT will replace it with the reviewed version; the version number on this page changes when that happens.
1. Who we are and what this covers
These terms are an agreement between you and Croco IT ("we", "us") for the virtual servers (KVM) and containers (LXC) and the related services we sell through this site. By creating an account or ordering a server you agree to them, together with the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Service Level Agreement.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, give accurate contact details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your servers, including by anyone you give access to. Keep your password and any API tokens secret; we recommend turning on two-factor authentication from your account page. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. The service
A server is yours to administer: you have root or administrator access and install and run what you choose, within the Acceptable Use Policy. We provide the virtual hardware, the network connection and the control panel. We do not manage, monitor or back up what runs inside your server unless a plan or add-on says so. Resources (CPU, memory, disk, traffic) are those of the plan you ordered; the fair-use limits are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Prices, invoices and payment
Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds and include or exclude value-added tax as marked. A server is billed in advance for the period you chose. A renewal invoice is issued before the period ends; the exact timetable (reminder, suspension and deletion dates) is in the Refund Policy. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next renewal.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend a server without notice when it is used in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, is attacking or harming others or our network, is unpaid past the grace period, or when the law requires it. We may close an account for repeated or serious breaches. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; the Refund Policy says what, if anything, is refunded.
6. Your data
Your data stays yours. We access the inside of a server only with your permission, to deal with an abuse report or a legal obligation, or when needed to keep the platform running. When a server is deleted — by you, or after non-payment — its disks are destroyed and cannot be recovered. Keep your own backups unless you have a backup add-on, and even then keep a copy elsewhere of anything you cannot lose.
7. Liability
The service is provided as described in the Service Level Agreement, which also sets out the only remedy for downtime (service credit). To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms. When we do, the version number on this page changes and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you open the dashboard; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt and its courts have jurisdiction.
